Tell Me What You’re Reading #11 Dylan Marron: Educated (etc.)

Our first guest for season II of our podcast was introduced to me by my son Ben and his wife Eden when they were planning their wedding and wanted Carol and me to meet their friend, Dylan Marron, who would be officiating. Dylan did a great job officiating and was also a pleasure to talk with on the pod.

Dylan is a writer and video maker who focuses on social justice issues. Dylan receives lots of negative messages on the internet and hosts an award winning podcast  - Conversations With People Who Hate Me - where Dylan interviews people who have posted racist, homophobic or otherwise terrible things about him.

Dylan has recently been on a college speaking tour throughout the country and is now writing a book about having difficult conversations, empathy on the internet, and wielding softness as strength. It’s called “Snowflake”.
